Kindergarten - 3rd Grade

During the Sunday School hour, our lower elementary kids meet with the preteens and junior highers to have breakfast and a time of worship.  Afterward, they break off to play games and have a pre-lesson time that will prepare the for what they will be learning during the sermon hour.

During the first portion of our worship service, the kids participate with their parents and then are dismissed at the sermon time to return to their classroom.  For lesson time, they are broken down into two classroooms by age (K-1 and 2-3) where they can do age appropriate activities that will help them to grow in their understanding of God.

We are currently using the "Young Explorers" program as our curriculum.  Each unit is centered on an exciting theme that helps the Bible lessons come alive for the children.  There is a key verse for each unit and for each session and Scripture memorization will be emphasized.  Each session includes a Bible story, prayer, and object lesson, games, and activity sheets.
